From Broken to Becoming
I Didn’t Always Believe in Myself
There was a time when I didn’t believe my dreams were achievable.
Not because I lacked talent.
Not because I lacked ambition.
But because I lacked something far more important…
Self-love.
I grew up without a father to guide me, protect me, or show me what belief in yourself is supposed to look like. I learned early how to survive but not how to feel secure. Not how to feel enough. And when you don’t feel enough, you look for ways to numb the pain.
How I Learned to Hide My Hurt
Like many people, I learned how to function while hurting.
I learned how to show up for work.
How to smile in public.
How to appear strong.
But underneath it all, I struggled with self-criticism, anxiety, and depression. I carried a quiet belief that I was behind in life, wasting time, wasting potential, wasting gifts I didn’t know how to access. I turned to habits that helped me escape instead of heal. I told myself I’d figure it out “one day.” Years passed. And that day never came until I made a choice.

Not a book about perfection.
A book about progress.
Becoming the Father I Never Had
One of the greatest gifts of my life has been becoming a father.
Being a father gave me something I didn’t know I was missing a deeper understanding of patience, responsibility, and unconditional love.
It taught me this truth:
We heal ourselves when we become who we once needed.
Every lesson I teach today is shaped by the desire to model courage, self-respect, and emotional strength not just for my children, but for anyone who never had someone show them how to believe in themselves.
From Healing to Serving
My transformation didn’t end with me. What I healed from became what I was called to help others heal from. Today, I am:
-
A Certified Master Life Coach
-
The Author of Dream and Grow Love
-
A Speaker and Founder of The S.A.D. Movement
-
A servant leader dedicated to helping people transform their inner world
I work with individuals, organizations, schools, and communities to help them:
-
Build emotional resilience
-
Increase self-worth
-
Break free from limiting beliefs
-
Reconnect with their dreams
The Moment Everything Changed
There comes a moment when you realize surviving is no longer enough. For me, that moment came when I was forced to sit with my life exactly as it was no distractions, no numbing, no excuses. I realized something powerful:
The life I wanted required a relationship with myself I didn’t yet have.
I didn’t need more motivation. I didn’t need someone to save me. I needed to learn how to love myself especially the parts of me I had been avoiding. That’s when the real work began.
Learning to Dream Again
I began practicing what I now teach. I learned how to:
-
Speak to myself with compassion instead of criticism
-
Sit with discomfort instead of running from it
-
Replace shame with understanding
-
Turn pain into purpose
Slowly, I stopped living S.A.D. Self-Criticism, Anxiety, and Depression—and started building a life rooted in clarity, focus, and belief.
That journey became the foundation of my book, Dream and Grow Love.

Why I Do This Work
Because I know what it feels like to be stuck. I know what it feels like to doubt yourself while watching time pass. And I also know this:
-
Your past does not disqualify you.
-
Your pain does not define you.
-
Your dreams are still achievable.
If You’re Reading This…
You’re not here by accident. Maybe you’re at a crossroads. Maybe you’re tired of pretending you’re fine. Maybe you’re ready to choose yourself. Wherever you are in your journey, I want you to know this: You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need the courage to begin. And I would be honored to walk with you as you grow.
